Secretlab.Media Internship Program

Definition:
An internship is a supervised practical experience in an industrial, governmental, academic, or virtual environment with the purpose of enhancing the technical, managerial, and communication skills for students from locals and overseas student.

Scope:
The length of the practical experience should exceed 400 hours. Students will be required to write a work report on their practical experience in order to obtain credit. Evaluation of the experience will be based on that report and on a report by the supervisor of the intern. An internship can be spread over two semesters if the student is taking a full academic load.

Credit Hours:
Associate degree students should register for 3 credits of related subject. All three credits satisfy associate degree requirements. However, no more than three credits of internship will be accepted to satisfy degree requirements.

Rules for interns :
Interns must follow the instructions and orders given by the company. They must also abide by the following rules.
- Interns must not endanger the reputation of the company or undermine its interest.
- Interns must not leak confidential information about company or company’s partners that they obtained through their internship.

Internship report:
The student should write a report which addresses the following topics
- A description of the environment in which the practical experience takes place. In most instances this will be a description of a company or government unit.
- A description of the practical assignment.
- A description of the accomplishments of the intern during the practical experience.
- An evaluation of the effectiveness of the internship. In particular, describe the areas in which knowledge and skill enhancement took place. Where appropriate, note where intern expectations were not met.

Student should also submit a compiled portfolio of the works during the internship process for internal final presentation. 

Expenses :
Students who are chosen as interns under the company internship program will enjoy a monthly allowance. The detail allowance will be decided by the company. This allowance will cover their daily meals and transportation cost and other related cost. The company will not offer any accommodation during the internship program.

Students must send their complete resume with portfolio and pictures to : info@secretlabmedia.com. Additional information regarding the students personality such as students blog/myspace/facebook is necessary for the selection process.

Selections :
The company will select the most intelligent personality base on the requirement that the company feels appropriate. Student will be contacted by the company via emails / telephone.
  

The best of future :
The company will offer a permanent job base on the internship performance and capability if there is a needs or availability. The terms and condition however is slightly different and subject to detail discussion between both parties.
