google reader 4 – RSS or Atom, and Feed

While I’m writing some few things about the google reader, a friend of mine ask me, “Dude, what the hell is RSS? Romen Setiap Saat?”
Well, the metaphor is like this :
Imagine that you have a house. Your friend has one. Your another friend in JB also has one. Your girlfriend in Bandung also has one. So, primitively if you want to know the latest update of the current event or happening in your friend’s house is to visit them. Imagine you have 1000 friend and 1000 house to visit everyday.
So technically you need to have a camera in every house (their house) so that you can know what is happening. (Provided this camera will record any new event.) So you can update with any new event that happening in your friend’s house.
So google reader is a feed web base software that fetch all the RSS or metaphorically is :
A place where you have a big camera which you can switch any channel you want and see what is your kinky friends doing.
