As a ebook writer one should always ask : “What is the perfect size for my ebook cover?”. Then comes the second question, “What is the ebook format that you guys giving me?”
Some of the ebook cover developer might gives you 5 to 10 sizes of cover and this comes with various format such PNG, JPEG and GIF. We understand that the more size you have and the more format you get somehow make your money worth. Actually, is it really worth ?
Base on our research we found out that the only size that matters are two :
1. To attached inside your ebook as front page
2. To attached on your website for your web marketing process
Well here are the suggested size for your ebook cover.
Big size : 345 H x 459 W and Small Size : 130 H x 173 W
So how about the format?
Jpeg. Others? Well you’ll never use other format anyway.
What is the used of having options if you actually have no options at all?
